In our belief that creating a well-rounded student; St. Edward the Confessor offers several clubs that students may join.
St. Edward has a robust Music Program. In addition to our Beginner and Advanced Bands; students may join our Hand Bell Choir, Chorale, or our Ukulele Club.
Membership in the Art Honor Society is selected by the Art teacher, based on several observations of both personal ability and growth. These students help make various signs and posters around school. As well as working on Art projects to enhance their own ability.
The student service clubs provide an opportunity to organize activities to assist not only our school and parish families, but also our local and world community. Some just help gain an awareness of social justice. These clubs include: Builders Club, Clown Ministry, Mission Club, Children’s Rosary, Ambassadors for Christ, Pro-Life, and our most visible, Morning Patrol.
Additionally, students may enjoy some “edutainment” clubs. These clubs are meant to be fun but also challenging in some way; these include: Chess , Lego, and Comics Club.
Academic Clubs are geared for Academic Competition of some sort, either in-school or outside school competitions. These include: Social Studies Games, Spanish Club, and Quiz Bowl.
Some other clubs include newspaper and Readers Theatre.
